Golf, dining, shopping, swimming. Should you get bored with the golf course, you can take in the attractions of Palm Springs.
Try the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, a thrilling cable car shuttling passengers from the desert floor to the heights of Mount San Jacinto. Interestingly, the sudden escalation can produce a drop in temperature of up to 40 degrees in a few minutes! Most invigorating.
At the top there are some interesting things for children to do such as rides and play areas, and there is a restaurant and cocktial bar.
There are a number of special interest museums such as the Desert Museum and the Air Museum.
Also, the shops and restaurants are of a very high standard. So if your husband is busy on the golf course ladies, there are plenty of amusements, and most of them will accept his credit cards!
