There is a grand sitting room ideal for entertaining and a second, fully equipped games room where you will find a 37 in. TV, DVD/VCR players. DVD and Video library, and a sound surround entertainment system piped onto the terrace and pool Kiosko. There is also a Sony Playstation 2 including a selection of games and a collection of childrens board games, beach toys and pool toys. The games room has a fully stocked wet bar with Sub Zero wine cooler.
On the Grand Terrace there is an outdoor pool table, complete with weatherproof cues and bridge, which converts to a ping pong table. The games room also has a professional 15 ft shuffleboard table and table-football.
The Kiosko, a 20 ft octagon shaped gazebo near the pool, may be utilised for BBQ (chef will grill your steaks here while you watch), relaxation,or you may screen it off as a private massage area. The masseuse is sports trained.
The main dining room will comfortably seat 30 but there are also a variety of more intimate dining areas to choose from around the terraces, al fresco dining spots included. Just ask the concierge to arrange whichever you want.
All the suites are king sized and include en suite bathroom facilities and spa-quality shower systems. Each suite has terrace access.
The Firenza Suite occupies the entire second floor, has its own fireplace, private terrace furnished with double sized chaise longues and a Jacuzzi for two.
The Siena Suite is suitable for handicapped guests, featuring generous doorways and a wheelchair ramp to the swimming pool (note the pool has zero-entry level).
There is a fully stocked wine cellar and also a stock of top grade cigars offered. Keys to the wine cellar are retained by the Concierge (Villa Manager) but a personal tour is offered with pleasure, on request.

15 minutes from the house is the Robert Trent Jones designed Playa Grande Golf Course, the finest the Dominican Rebublic has to offer. The Concierge at the villa will help you plan your golf schedule and, if you wish, arrange for visits to other courses.
There is also a private putting and chipping course at the villa.
Scuba Diving is offered (PADI Certificate courses may be arranged on request.)
Tours to stay overnight in Santo Domingo, the Domincan Republic's capital are a great idea.
In Santo Domingo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor is believed to contain the remains of Christopher Columbus.
There are so many restaurants here that it is impossible to have sampled all of them, even for those who live here. The city never sleeps and try not to miss La Malecon, the main boulevard of the Zona Colonial.
White sand beaches, impressive mountains, spectacular rivers and waterfalls, and saltwater lakes teeming with exotic wildlife, are all part of the appeal.
One of the world's top sources of amber gemstones, the Dominican Republic is the place to buy it. There is a fascinating collection at Museo Mundo de Ambar. Look for samples containing bugs, there is an entire room just for ants!
Guided tours in several languages are given 09.00 - 18.00 Monday to Saturday. The Amber Museum is found in Puerto Plata.
Eden Bay Resort tours (great fashion shopping), jeep safaris, horse riding, deep sea fishing, windsurfing, whale watching, and tobacco factory tours.

There are an enormous number of activities on offer at this Villa, which make it absolutely perfect for large family group holidays.
Landscaping in and around the Villa is featured by imported Italian marble fountains, romantic flower borders, fish ponds and cobbled walkways, lending an Italian reminiscence to a dream Caribbean location.
